Workshop on Optimal Sampling for Approximation

When & where

The workshop will take place on March 10, 2022, at Institut Henri Poincaré, Paris.

Room: amphithéâtre Hermite (ground floor).

Presentation of the workshop

The workshop aims at presenting recent advances in approximation of functions using samples, from fundamental results in approximation theory and information based complexity, to practical sampling and recontruction methods.

Organizers: Clémentine Prieur, Anthony Nouy, Guillaume Perrin.

Registration

Registration is free but mandatory.

Remote participation

Remote participation will be possible, using Zoom.

The link will be sent before the workshop to all registered participants.

Support for attendance

The GdR Mascot-Num will support the attendance of doctoral and post-doctoral students in this event by providing grants that cover travel and accommodation costs.

People wishing to receive funding from the GdR must apply before February 2 to the address gdr-mascotnum-contact@services.cnrs.fr, specifying their institution and providing a CV.

The amount of grants will be determined according to the number of applications.
